Wayland Weston American Youth Football & Cheer (WWAYF) is non-profit organization that offers an instructional football program for youth in grades K through 8th. We are dedicated to teaching the youth of our communities the fundamentals and proper techniques of tackle football to develop physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills in a positive and safe environment where every athlete:

  • Is coached using the principles of Positive Coaching, creating a motivational environment where preparation, practice and hard work generate legitimate opportunities for success
  • Is focused on safety - theirs, their teammates, and their opponents -  and learns the fundamentals and techniques necessary for positive experiences in football and in life
  • Has fun at practices and games
  • Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field, such as teamwork, discipline, and dedication
  • Feels like an important part of the team regardless of skill level
  • Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player
  • Strengthens their bodies and minds through hard work, dedication, and resilience
